A fine set of three mid-eighteenth century portraits depicting two ladies and a man, possibly a mother, her son and daughter-in-law.

Circle of John Singleton Copley (1738 – 1815)

Retaining the original carved giltwood frames

Portraits in identical frames formed of flower-carved rococo scrollwork exist in the collection of the Earl of Wemyss at Gosford House.
